Jane Nicholls is a Sydney-based journalist who writes about travel, technology, science, leadership and culture for a wide variety of publications, and especially loves the natural world. She has watched crocodiles from a Zodiac while sailing down Australia’s spectacular Kimberley coast with Silversea, snorkeled with sharks, stingrays and turtles on the Great Barrier Reef, skied through silent forests in Breckenridge, watched in wonder at bull elephants twisting their trunks in a gentle hug in Zambia, and critically endangered orange-bellied parrots feeding en masse in remote south-west Tasmania.
