Peggy Sijswerda was born in Virginia but moved a lot as a child, thanks to her dad’s career in the Navy. One of her earliest memories is picking blueberries with her brothers in Argentia, Newfoundland. On her first trip abroad, she fell in love with Europe and a handsome blue-eyed Dutchman. Today Peggy and Peter live in Mexico in the winter and spend summers in Europe. Peggy has written about Swedish glass, Icelandic lore, Argentine winemakers, Amsterdam cocktails, Belizean cuisine, and much more. She loves riding horses and hanging out with family and friends when she’s not traveling.
