Wanda Hennig is a food and travel writer and photojournalist. She has worked on newspapers and magazines in South Africa and the San Francisco Bay Area and freelanced extensively. She is a regular contributor to the Daily Maverick TGIFood section in South Africa and to Oakland-based Cuisine Noir magazine. A member of Bay Area Travel Writers, she considers Oakland her home from home, which is currently Durban. As an author her focus is memoir. She offers memoir and mindfulness workshops, which draw on her co-active coaching experience and long-time Zen practice. She is writing a book themed around these workshops.
