Award-winning journalist and author Laura Lazzaroni was the first editor in chief of Food & Wine Italia. Previously New York correspondent of a famous Italian weekly, then features editor of L’Uomo Vogue in Milan, Lazzaroni is the author of Altri Grani Altri Pani and co-author with three-Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito of 10 Lezioni di Cucina. She is also an accomplished bread consultant, specializing in heritage wheat. Her newest book, “The New Cucina Italiana: What to Eat, What to Cook, and Who to Know in Italian Cuisine Today,” was published by Rizzoli in March 2021.
